Most healthy-aging programs rely on protocols and coaches. You’re one of many going through the same program, using the same testing and the same supplements.
But if the goal is staying you, shouldn’t the plan begin with you?

We do things differently at Grace Integrative Medicine.
Instead of starting with a standard protocol, we start with you.
Your history, your labs, your goals, and how your body is functioning now all give us important information. And then we go one layer deeper with genetics.
Much like a set of blood tests, your genetic results provide information about your body and biochemistry. They can point to areas worth looking at more closely.
And unlike your labs, your genetics don't change.
We can come back to that information again and again as your health, your life, and your priorities change.
Because personalized should actually mean personal.
No generic protocol – Your plan isn't built around what “someone your age” is supposed to need. We use your story, labs, genetics, assessments, and goals to decide what deserves attention.
More information isn't always better – The goal isn't to test everything or optimize every number. We look for information that helps us make useful decisions about your health.
Useful beyond the program – Your genetics don't expire when Staying You ends. You'll leave with information and a plan you can return to as your health and priorities change.

Stay Strong: Physical strength and energy to keep doing the things you love.
Stay Sharp: Clear thinking and focus with a memory that serves you well.
Stay Active: The freedom and capacity to keep living life on your terms.
Stay Resilient: The ability to recover, adapt, and keep moving forward.
And you'll have a physician with you through every step.
Your story, labs, genetics, assessments, and goals come together in one place, with one physician who knows the whole picture.
Staying You is intentionally small. With no more than eight participants at a time, there's room for individual attention, questions, conversation, and thoughtful support along the way.
Different people need different things. That’s the point.

Dr. Overman is an excellent and empathetic listener.... She is extraordinarily knowledgeable about the biochemical pathways of the body, and uses epigenetics as a way to determine root causes for different health issues.
I would highly recommend Dr. Melissa Overman to any of my friends or family.

Dr. Melissa starts with my goals and brings her expertise in epigenetics and natural supplements to support my health, rather than react to disease.

You've already learned a lot about your health.
You've read the books. Listened to the podcasts. Tried the supplements. Maybe you track your sleep, activity, heart rate, glucose, or other health data.
And you've probably learned some useful things along the way.
But more information doesn't always make it easier to know what matters for you.
What deserves your attention now?
What's worth watching but not worrying about?
Which changes could make the biggest difference over the next several years?
You don't necessarily need more health information.
You need help putting the information you already have — and the information we gather together — into context.
That's where having a physician who knows your story can make a difference.
Before your first visit
Start with a clearer picture of where you are now.
You’ll complete your baseline bloodwork and initial assessments before we meet. We’ll also get your SmartDNA testing underway so your genetic results can begin adding another layer to what we learn.
Month 1 — Start with what matters now
Your first steps don't have to wait for every answer.
At your first private physician visit, we’ll bring together your story, goals, baseline labs, and assessments. By the end of that visit, you'll have your first priorities and next steps — a plan we can begin putting into action right away.
Month 2 — Make it more personal
Add genetics. Look for connections. Refine the plan.
By your second visit, we expect to have your genetic results to add to what we already know. We’ll look for patterns and places worth paying closer attention, then continue building and tailoring your plan around you.
Month 3 — See what's changing
Your response becomes part of the information.
What's shifted? What's working? What hasn't? Has something new become more important? We’ll use what you've noticed over the first couple of months to adjust priorities and decide what makes sense next.
Month 4 — Build from here
Look back at what we've learned — and forward to what comes next.
When useful, we may repeat selected labs to see what's changed. Then we'll bring your story, results, genetics, progress, and priorities together and review your final Staying You Plan, including what deserves your attention over the next six and twelve months.
And throughout the four months, you’ll have your monthly private physician visits plus four small-group gatherings for conversation, practical teaching, questions, and connection.
The goal isn't to hand you a plan at the end of four months. It's to build one with you — use it, learn from it, and make it more yours as we go.
You don’t need another protocol or another pile of health information.

In person or virtual. One visit each month for up to ninety minutes to talk through your health story, review your genetic testing and labs, and decide together what deserves your attention. We’ll have time to ask better questions, follow the clues, and adjust as we learn more.
Value: $2,400

Your genetics can give us clues about where to look more closely. A broad baseline lab panel helps us see what’s happening in your body now. Testing is performed through SmartDNA and Quest Diagnostics. Together, they help us decide what deserves your attention now — and what may be worth keeping an eye on over time.
Value: $800+

We’ll establish a practical starting point for the things that matter to you. Depending on your health, what you’re noticing, and what you want to keep doing, we may look at strength, mobility, balance, cognition, sleep, stress, or other useful measures.
We can return to these over time to see what’s changing, what’s holding steady, and where a little attention may make sense.
Value: $200+

Four opportunities to connect with others who are thinking about aging well. Share experiences and ideas, ask questions, learn from one another, and build a little community along the way.
Dr. Melissa will be part of every gathering, too, bringing a physician’s perspective. After all, she’s figuring out how she wants to age, too.
Value: $1200

A physician-created plan that brings together your story, genetics, labs, functional assessment, and what we’ve learned over our time together.
You’ll have clear priorities, practical next steps, what we’ll want to keep an eye on, and a plan for the next six and twelve months.
You’ll know what deserves your attention now, where your effort is best spent, and how to keep moving forward.
Value: $1,200

Your plan may include tools or resources you continue using outside our time together. Staying You participants have access to Grace's Fullscript dispensary and available savings on laboratory testing and select health-tracking technology.

We’re not looking for everything that’s different. We’re looking for what might matter.
Your genetic results become more useful when we put them alongside your story, labs, functional assessment, and goals. That’s how they help shape a plan that’s actually yours.

Over these four months, I'll get to know your genetics, history, labs, what matters to you, and what you want to keep doing.
That context matters. It means we're not making each decision in isolation. We can come back to the bigger picture as your health, your priorities, and the questions you're asking change over time.

Curious. Thoughtful. Personal.
Staying You is for individuals who want to be intentional about their health as they get older — whether you’re noticing changes now or simply want to understand where your attention may be best spent for the years ahead. You don’t need to be sick, and you don’t need to be trying to “fix” everything.
No. Staying You is open to both new and established Grace patients.
No. You need to be located in North or South Carolina for your physician visits due to licensing restrictions. Visits can be held in person at Grace Integrative Medicine in Pickens or virtually.
Four private physician visits, SmartDNA genetic testing, baseline laboratory testing, a functional assessment, four small-group gatherings, and your personalized Staying You plan with priorities and next steps for the following six and twelve months.
Purchased separately, those components represent more than $5,700 in care, testing, assessment, and planning. And some are only available as part of Staying You. More importantly, they aren't six separate services. They're designed to work together, so your story, genetics, labs, assessments, and goals can inform one plan.
Staying You includes SmartDNA testing for every participant, even if you’ve had genetic testing before. Using the same comprehensive panel gives us a consistent foundation for looking at the pathways most relevant to the program. Previous genetic results can still be useful, and you’re welcome to share them.
No. Staying You is designed to complement your existing healthcare, not replace primary care or urgent/emergency care.
Services at Grace Integrative Medicine are typically HSA/FSA eligible, and you may be able to use those funds for Aging Gracefully. Eligibility varies by plan, so please check with your plan administrator. A receipt will be provided for your payment.
You’ll leave with clear priorities and a plan for the next six and twelve months. If you’d like continued physician support, you can continue working with Dr. Melissa through Grace on an individual basis. There is no required ongoing membership, although that option may be available depending on your desired level of support.
Your genetic testing is performed through SmartDNA. Your personal information and test results are handled according to SmartDNA’s privacy and confidentiality policies, and your clinical report is provided to Grace Integrative Medicine so we can review it together as part of your care.
Grace receives your SmartDNA report, not your raw genetic data. The report gives us the information we need to look at relevant pathways and patterns without providing your underlying raw DNA file.
You can also review SmartDNA’s full Privacy Policy here.
The next Staying You cohort runs October 2026 through January 2027. Registration is limited to eight participants and closes September 30.
Once you enroll, Dr. Melissa will contact you to schedule your first visit and arrange your genetic testing and baseline labs.
Still wondering if Staying You is right for you?
Send me your question. I’m happy to help you decide whether the program makes sense for what you’re looking for.

Four months from now, the goal isn't for you to have more health information to manage.
It's for you to understand your health more clearly — what deserves your attention, what probably doesn't, and where your effort is best spent.
You'll leave with priorities for the months ahead and a plan for the next six and twelve months, built around the health and capacity that let you keep doing what matters to you.
Because Staying You isn't really about finishing a four-month program.
It's about what you can keep doing afterward.
